Biofertimaq aims to accelerate the adoption of biofertilizers in agriculture by understanding the current market and regulatory framework, identifying the barriers farmers face, and developing practical solutions to overcome them.
It focuses particularly on liquid and gel organic fertilizers, studying their technical and economic performance under different crops and irrigation systems.
The project will combine market and technical analysis, farmer engagement, machinery adaptations and a strategic guide to support the effective use of biofertilizers.
