Web applications and other digital solutions for the agri-food sector
This unit aims to contribute to the green and digital transformation of the agribusiness sector through the development of web applications and other digital solutions that help the sector to achieve its sustainability objectives.
It is organised into two lines of action: on the one hand, applied research based on big data, artificial intelligence and blockchain; and on the other, knowledge transfer focused on the development of web applications to address real industry needs.
This includes tools such as carbon footprint and environmental impact calculators in accordance with ISO14064 and GHG Protocol standards, platforms for the purchase of carbon credits through carbon farming techniques, and solutions for the creation of corporate sustainability reports in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
