Sergi Muñoz is a biotechnologist, graduated from the University of Girona (UdG) with a specialization in Industrial Biotechnology and Agri-Food Biotechnology. He later completed a Master’s in New Foods at the University of Madrid, specializing in New Food Technologies and Product Development. During this period, he focused on optimizing submerged cultures of Ganoderma lucidum using algae by-products, with the aim of analyzing the bioactive properties of the generated biomass and valorizing agri-food by-products. Later, he worked as an Area Sales Manager in a company specialized in bioreactors and tangential flow filtration systems, managing the Southwestern European market and coordinating the commercial and technical aspects of various projects. Now, he will be involved in two capitalization demonstrative projects: ReH2OCap and EmissioCap.
