Dr. Laura Foix Pericot is an Agri-food Biotechnologist, PhD in Biotechnology applied to Plant Pathology and Plant Peptide Assessment. She has extensive experience in plant-pathogen interaction, transcriptomics and biotechnological production in bioreactors. At BETA Technological Center, she is a postdoctoral researcher of Environmental Technologies research line. She is currently participating in competitive international and national projects focusing on the use of microalgae and microbes to produce alternative protein for potential new food sources and livestock feed.
