The objective of this activity is to create the Catalan Nutrient Platform to improve nutrient management by recovering nutrients from secondary sources in agricultural, forestry, urban, and industrial activities, promoting the circular bioeconomy in Catalonia’s agricultural systems. This initiative seeks to optimize fertilization, improve soil health, and reduce nutrient losses, thus contributing to more efficient and sustainable management. The Platform is conceived as a collaborative space that will bring together all key players in the nutrient management value chain. This tool will serve to foster knowledge transfer, promote new opportunities, and position Catalonia as a benchmark in efficient nutrient management and agricultural sustainability.
