BioCORE is developing a more sustainable way to turn agricultural and rural plant waste into valuable bio-based products.

The project creates a complete biorefinery system that uses less energy, water, and solvents, while relying as much as possible on renewable energy sources. It combines innovative technologies with digital and AI-based tools to improve efficiency, lower environmental impact, and make production more flexible according to energy availability.

The ultimate goal is to support a climate-neutral, circular economy, where biomass residues are transformed into useful products with minimal waste and emissions.
