This project is focused on boosting cooperation between different European regions to promote bio-fertilizers and a circular bioeconomy. It aims to close the gap between more and less developed regions and encourage sustainable agriculture across Europe.

The project will test and demonstrate eight new bio-fertilizer solutions (including biostimulants) and sustainable farming practices. It will provide financial and technical support to thirty small businesses and startups to help them overcome challenges in the bio-fertilizer market. Additionally, the project will establish an Excellence Competence Centre to offer long-term support with innovation and financial advice to businesses and regions.

BETA Tech Centre will assist Fertinagro Biotech, Fertiebro, and Desarrollos Agroquímicos in testing biofertilizer products through agronomic trials to assess their benefits. The centre will also create a network of experts to advise companies on bringing products to market, along with establishing an interregional network to enhance cooperation and knowledge sharing. Based on the knowledge gained, BETA will develop future recommendations.
