Sandra Galea Outón

Researcher

Sandra Galea Outón holds a degree in biotechnology from the University of Cádiz, a master’s degree in molecular and Cellular Integrative Biology from the Margarita Salas Centre for Biological Research (CSIC, Madrid), and a PhD in biotechnology and microbiology from the University of Montpellier (at INRAE, France). She has also completed research stays at University College Dublin and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and has collaborated on international projects in France and South Korea. She has worked in diverse fields, from biomedicine to environmental biotechnology, in which she has specialized. She currently works as a researcher in the soil and nutrient management group at the Beta Technological Centre.
