Roser Iborra Talens

PhD Student

Roser Iborra Talens holds a BSc in Biotechnology and an MSc in Agri-Food Biotechnology. Her background is in solid-phase synthesis of peptides as alternative agents to control plant diseases. In particular, her work focused on antimicrobial, antibiofilm, or lipopolysaccharide-targeting peptides as a control strategy against various phytopathogens of interest. Additionally, she has experience working as a Quality Specifications Technologist for a food company in Girona. Within BETA Tech Center, Roser is developing her doctoral thesis project, focused on the use of decentralized composting and the minimization of its emissions by using innovative systems.
