Mohamed Emran

Researcher

Mohamed Emran is a member of the sustainable Food and farming systems Unit (BETA center). He completed the BSc. in Microbiology in Egypt (2004) and obtained his MSc. and PhD. degrees in Environmental Soil Science from the University of Girona in 2012. His expertise lies in investigating the evidence for soil quality by studying soil carbon dynamics (loss and storage) and their interactions with soil ecosystems. He worked as a researcher at SRTA-City (Egypt) from 2013 to 2024, and as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zaragoza in 2022.
