Dr. Mercè Boy Roura is an Environmental Scientist, Master in Water Sciences and Technology and PhD in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability. She is a project manager and head of the Governance for Sustainability area at the BETA Technological Center. She has worked in different research and transfer projects in several countries (Spain, USA, New Zealand, Germany) on the topic of water resources quality and management, agriculture and sustainability. She is currently the coordinator of the Interreg MED Green Growth community, a network of 14 innovation projects on green and circular economy promoting sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. She also participates in other territorial cooperation projects and initiatives in the field of governance and sustainability in the framework of Interreg MED and ENI-CBC-MED, as well as with the Government of Catalonia. Moreover, she is a member of the Coordination Group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform since 2020 and the Union for the Mediterranean Task Force on Environment since 2018.
