Mariuxi de los Angeles Ramos Araujo holds a degree in Water Sciences from the Amazon Regional University Ikiam, Ecuador, and a Master’s degree in Water Resources Science and Technology from the University of Girona. She has worked as a drinking water technician in the public sector and has participated in several research projects on aquatic systems characterization in the Ecuadorian Amazon region. She has experience in laboratory analysis, river hydrology, aquatic ecology, and the operation of technologies for the treatment and reuse of industrial waters in the agri-food sector. She is currently working at the BETA Technological Centre on nutrient recovery through environmental technologies as part of the European Greenwood Project.
