Laura Vetter holds a Master’s degree in Agroecology and Food Systems from ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) in Switzerland and is dedicated to regenerative practices in agriculture. Her area of expertise lies in agroforestry systems, a subject she explored in depth through her master’s thesis and academic research. She has contributed to agroforestry projects across Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, and Brazil, and currently manages an experimental agroforestry plot in Catalonia.

At BETA, her work focuses on the study of agroforestry systems under Mediterranean and dryland conditions, as well as on the adaptation and application of traditional agricultural knowledge to address the challenges posed by climate change.
