Laura Dejana

Researcher

Laura Dejana completed a BSc in Biology and an MSc in EcoBiology in Italy between 2009 and 2016. In 2023, she obtained her PhD in Fundamental and System Biology at the University of Granada, Estación Experimental del Zaidín (EEZ-CSIC), through a pre-doctoral fellowship funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks. Her expertise focuses on investigating the impact of beneficial microorganisms, particularly arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, on plant resistance to pathogens and herbivores under different context-dependent conditions.
