Jorge Rodríguez is a Telecommunications Engineer specialising in information technologies, data management and data visualisation. His work focuses on developing solutions for managing large environmental datasets, with particular expertise in environmental indicators, the integration of data into geographic information systems (GIS), and spatial data visualisation.

He is currently responsible for the data architecture of the ratpenats.org platform dedicated to the storage and processing of large-scale bat ultrasound datasets. His work includes managing data models, computational systems and automated species classification workflows, as well as developing statistical models and geospatial visualisation tools to support data analysis and interpretation.
