Jordi Pous Miralles

Knowledge transfer technician and territorial-sectoral projects

Jordi Pous Miralles has studies in biotechnology, environmental microbiology and health. He has experience in different fields related to health, the environment and the agri-food sector as a researcher, scientific disseminator and environmental consultant. Among others, he has been involved in a research project on the evolution of antibiotic resistance in fields fertilized with sewage sludge. Before joining BETA, he was working as a technical consultant in an agro-livestock cooperative. This experience in different sectors gives him a transversal view of the sector. It has a special interest in finding and promoting solutions based on nature and the circular economy to environmental problems; always taking into account economic and social aspects.
