Dr. Diana Jiménez is an Agricultural Engineer specialising in soils and holds a Master’s degree in Soil Science (Soil Science). She is currently working as a researcher at the BETA Technology Centre. Her professional and scientific experience focuses on organic fertilisation of crops with organic waste (slurry, compost, biochar). Within the framework of the circular economy and Mediterranean agricultural systems, her research focuses on the study of soil organic matter and the environmental implications (atmospheric emissions, organic matter quality and nitrate leaching) through crop diversification and management practices that promote soil health.
