Carla Febrer Sanglas

Specialist in agricultural policies

Carla Febrer Sanglas has a degree in veterinary medicine and specialises in sustainable rural development. She holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences option, from the University of the Republic in Uruguay, where she carried out an assessment of sustainability in family livestock systems and their participatory validation. She also has a master’s degree in ecological agriculture and livestock farming.

She has experience in project management at European and local level, analysis and dynamisation of participatory processes and dialogue between public administrations and the primary sector. She is currently part of the area of Governance for Sustainability, as a specialist in agricultural policies, in the identification and interaction of the different key actors in nutrient management, new governance strategies and analysis of public policies at European, national and regional level.
