Dr. Anna Bagó Mas is a Biotechnologist and Doctor in Neuroscience. Her doctoral research focused on the development of two plant extracts with a rich polyphenolic composition derived from raïm and coffee waste, which are common organic waste products in the agri-food chain. The main objective of his work was to explore the potential of these extracts in the treatment of pathological pain, thus contributing to the advancement of the circular bioeconomy within the pharmaceutical industry. At BETA Technology Centre she is currently Technical Coordinator of Governance for Sustainability projects. She is responsible for the coordination and implementation of projects in the framework of Horizon Europe, in particular stakeholder engagement and policy development, contributing to the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
