BETA Technology Centre is a young, dynamic and multidisciplinary team of more than 100 people working cohesively with the mission of contributing to the sustainable development of rural societies and improving their competitiveness and quality of life. The successful candidate will join the ‘Sustainability Accounting and Optimization’ team as technical manager of tasks related to social impact assessments of research, innovation and transfer entities and organisations. The successful candidate will also participate in the implementation of European, national and regional projects, and will collaborate in the preparation of new proposals to attract new funding.

Functions and duties:
-Evaluation ofthe social and economic impact of the Cbetween BETA technological T.
– Design, development and application of indicators to measure the social and economic impact in research, innovation and transfer projects and initiatives.
– Technical responsible for the evaluations of the social dimension of environmental projects for different sectors.
– Preparation of social and economic impact reports, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
– Execution of tasks related to technical project management (attendance at project meetings, preparation of deliverables, reports, etc.).
– Participation in the preparation of new proposals to attract new funding.

Requirements
Spanish Decree on recognition of qualifications of teaching and research staff, and service staff
According to Spanish Royal Decree 889/2022, those who apply for teaching and research staff (PDI) or service staff (PAS) posts should have any qualifications issued abroad officially recognised in Spain, since such approval qualifies for the exercise of regulated professions in Spain. Research-only staff are exempt from this requirement.
- Title: Advanced Vocational Training in fields relevant to the position.
- Acreditació del nivell de suficiència de llengua catalana (nivell C1) o estar en condicions d’obtenir-lo#.
- Accreditation of Level B2 English or commitment to obtain it.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies for the evaluation of the social and economic dimension of research, innovation and/or transfer projects.
- Previous experience in the execution of research and technology transfer projects in the field of sustainability.
- Technical skills in data analysis, advanced knowledge of Excel or other tools, as well as in the preparation and writing of concise and strategic reports.
- Familiarity with methodologies, criteria and international impact assessment frameworks, such as: SROI (Social Return on Investment), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), SDGs (Sustainable DevelopmentGoals).
Merits
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Economics, BusinessAdministration and Management, Environmental Sciencesor related disciplines.
- Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Sciences, Sociology, Economics,economics, business administration and management, environmental sciences or related disciplines.
- Previous experience in the evaluation of the social and economic dimension of projects, organizations or technologies will be highly valued.
