Description:

BETA Technology Center is formed by a young multidisciplinary team of 80 researchers, and is looking to incorporate a dynamic person, with leadership skills and eager to be part of this project. We are looking for a software developer (full stack or frontend). The technician will develop his/her activity in the framework of the project “EASYOEF. Development of the web application for the correct calculation of the Environmental Footprint Organization and other sustainability indicators in the agrifood industry. Exp No. 2021 PROD 00150”. This project is linked to the Knowledge Industry grants (Seed and Product) and is supported by the Department of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

 

Functions and tasks:

  • Development of the frontend and usability of the EASYOEF application.
  • Possibility to collaborate in the backend development (depending on experience).
  • Preparation of documentation for end users of the developed software.

Requirements

Decreto de homologación de los títulos del Personal Docente Investigador y el Personal de Administración y Servicios

En base al Real Decreto 899/2022, las personas que presenten su candidatura a convocatorias de Personal Docente Investigador (PDI) y/o el Personal de Administración y Servicios (PAS) deben presentar la homologación de los títulos expedidos en extranjero, ya qué es ésta la que habilita para el ejercicio de profesión regulada en España.

El colectivo del Personal Investigador queda exento de esta resolución.

  • Training Cycle Degree Level: Higher Level Training Cycle in computer science, environment, health or other related fields within the scope of the call.
  • Accreditation of the level of Catalan proficiency (Level C1) or being in conditions to obtain it.
  • Accreditation of English level B2 or be in a position to obtain it.
  • Advanced knowledge in any of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, etc.

Merits

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Technical Engineering in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Telecommunications, Environmental Sciences and other degrees.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in professional software development.
  • Demonstrable experience in software development. Attach link to personal portfolio /GitHub/ etc.
  • Knowledge of a JavaScript frontend framework (preferably Vue3 or React) – Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, postregSQL, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability, life cycle analysis and carbon footprint.

This job offer includes

Incorporation within the PAS professional group, Administration and Services Technical Staff.
Type of temporary contract
Full-time working day
Gross annual salary: 30.142,20 €.

 

Flexible working hours. Possibility of combining face-to-face work with teleworking.
