CT BETA collaborates with the Institut de Vic in the training of CFGS students

As well as taking on work experience students, the two entities will explore other collaboration options

From this semester, the CT BETA of the UVic-UCC has begun to collaborate with the Institute of Vic for the practical training of students of the Higher Level Training Cycle (CFGS) of Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control. With this collaboration, the aim is to offer students from the Institute of Vic the possibility of doing their curricular internships in the laboratories that the technology centre has in Can Baumann every year.

In addition to hosting internship students, the two entities will explore other collaboration options that will allow the Institut de Vic to take advantage of the opportunity of having a research centre such as BETA within walking distance of its facilities. In this way, the aim is to make it easier for the Can Baumann laboratories to receive more educational visits, or for researchers from CT BETA to participate in certain teaching activities.

Being able to initiate this type of relationship with entities in its immediate surroundings was one of the priorities for CT BETA since it was recently able to inaugurate its new office and laboratory spaces. For the time being, CT BETA’s technical laboratory team has already welcomed two students.
