Miguel Montero Alonso

Sustainability Technician

Miguel Montero Alonso has a BSc in Environmental Engineering and another in Energy Engineering (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos), and a MSc degree in Management and Engineering in environment and energy (École des Mines de Nantes). Currently he is studying a PhD in applied LCA carbon modelling updates controlling trade-offs. During his career he has worked as intern for the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Tecnalia. He has also worked for Valdemorillo townhall as environment technician, and more recently as Analyst for the Joint Research Center (EU Commission). Currently, at the BETA Technology Centre, he is working on the sustainability and technoeconomic analysis of different projects; fertilisers, carbon farming and biorefineries.
