Florence Gignac

Florence Gignac is an environmental geographer and epidemiologist with a PhD specialising in air pollution and citizen science. Her expertise lies in developing and implementing participatory approaches, such as citizen science and co-creation processes, within natural and applied scientific research. She is particularly passionate about engaging the general public to better understand, address, and mitigate the impacts of various environmental challenges, including air pollution, the lack of green spaces, microplastics in water, and flash floods. Through her work, Dr. Gignac is dedicated to making every step of a scientific research project inclusive, creative, and sustainable.
