Dr. Rosa Vilaplana is an agronomist and has a PhD in Auxiliary Systems in the Agrifood Industry. As a researcher, she has extensive experience in the study of alternative systems to the use of chemical fungicides to prevent post-harvest losses of fruits and vegetables, both in the Mediterranean climate and in tropical and subtropical climates. She has also participated in the direction and co-direction of different agronomic projects for the technological improvement of the fruits and vegetables postharvest conservation and has collaborated in projects on the use of pseudo-cereals such as quinoa and amaranth
