Georgina del Puerto Tañà

PhD student

Georgina del Puerto is a biotechnologist with MSc in Applied Microbiology. Her background includes experience working with fermentation processes, bio-electrochemical systems, and bioremediation of emerging contaminants. Additionally, she has worked as a laboratory analyst and quality technician. Currently, at CT BETA she is involved in the SEMPRE-BIO project developing her doctoral thesis on bioprocesses for the carbon dioxide valorization from biogas streams, for the production of value-added compounds, such as biochemicals, biopolymers, and alternative protein sources.
