Oriol Palau holds a degree in Biology and an MSc in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management. He is currently a technician in the BiBio Research Group, where he contributes to research and conservation projects on small mammals and coordinates the citizen science network dedicated to monitoring this group.
Throughout his career, he has participated in several research and conservation projects focused on threatened wildlife, as well as studies on the effects of climate change in high-mountain ecosystems. He has also worked on forest monitoring projects, overseeing the installation and configuration of sensors used to collect physiological data from forest ecosystems.
His work focuses on applied ecology, biodiversity monitoring and the generation of scientific knowledge to support the conservation of wildlife and ecosystems.
