Laia Moret is an environmental biologist and Technical Coordinator of the volunteer network for the Catalan Butterfly Monitoring Scheme (CBMS). Her career has been closely linked to the programme, which she joined as a volunteer in 2019 before becoming a member of the technical team in 2024.

She currently coordinates the volunteer network, providing technical support and ongoing guidance to participants. She is also involved in project management, data review and validation, and the coordination of the technical and organisational tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of the programme.
