Job description
The BETA Technology Centre is comprised of a young, multidisciplinary team of over 150 researchers committed to research and knowledge transfer to address environmental and sustainability challenges. We are at a strategic juncture of institutional transformation, beginning the transition to an independent Foundation that will be integrated into the CERCA network of centers of the Government of Catalonia. This step reinforces our commitment to scientific excellence, internationalization, and the consolidation of a robust and modern knowledge management system.
In this context of growth, we are seeking a Talent Management Technician to provide direct support to the Talent Management Manager in consolidating this new area. We are looking for an organized, proactive, and people-oriented individual, eager to contribute to building processes, tools, and a modern work culture aligned with CERCA standards.
Functions and duties:
- Support in drafting professional profiles, defining competencies, and preparing documentation for new calls for proposals.
- Coordinate and manage all operational phases of the selection processes: posting job openings, screening candidates, issuing calls for applications, communicating with candidates, and providing interview support.
- Manage onboarding: preparing documentation, providing initial support, coordinating with other departments, and monitoring the first few weeks.
- Ensure a positive employee experience by addressing inquiries, offering support, and participating in employee well-being and organizational culture initiatives.
- Support the implementation of internal processes within the Talent Management area (training, development, performance evaluation, work-life balance, equality, etc.).
- Manage and update documentation and records related to HR processes (databases, personnel files, templates, communications, protocols).
- Collaborate in building a positive and inclusive work culture aligned with CERCA’s values by carrying out internal communication activities and providing operational support.
