The main drivers for fulfilling this mission are both the implementation of RTDI projects in the field of agri-food systems and the environment, and the transfer of innovative and competitive technology that incorporates sustainability criteria to the private sector.

Functions and duties:
• Technical coordination of work packages in European projects, particularly the FOODTURE project.
• Coordination with international consortium partners and participation in project meetings.
• Contribution to the development of life cycle inventories (LCI) and improvement of life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) methodologies.
• Drafting of technical reports, deliverables and scientific publications.
