César Llanos-Guerrero

PhD Student

César Llanos-Guerrero holds a degree in Biology from the University of Salamanca. His research focuses on the ecology and conservation of mammals in Mediterranean ecosystems. He combines fieldwork with quantitative approaches to understand how mammal communities respond to environmental change.

He is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) and is a member of the BiBio Research Group at the Granollers Museum of Natural Sciences, which is part of the BETA Technological Centre. He contributes to research and long-term monitoring initiatives on terrestrial mammals. His doctoral research examines how land-use change affects mammal communities, with a particular focus on trophic ecology, bioindicators and biodiversity assessment.
