Ariadna Claret i Carles holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Girona (UdG) and a master’s degree in environmental studies, specializing in Industrial Ecology, from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She has extensive experience applying Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to calculate the environmental, social, and techno-economic impacts of various technologies, products, and systems. She has also worked on projects and proposals applying ecodesign and circular economy strategies. She has been involved in more than 25 R&D projects at both European and national levels and has participated in several international conferences. She has also taught in the field of ecodesign. At the BETA Technological Centre, she has joined as a specialist in sustainability assessment and will work on the environmental impact assessment of new technologies.
