Dr. Carmen Espinosa is a Biotechnologist, MSC in water science and technology and PhD in Science and Technology. She has experience in evaluate the ecological status and the water quality of rivers and in find out new ways to establish the pollution, based specifically on biofilm. Currently, she is focused in the characterization of the Ter River, working with innovative monitoring tools for water quality. She is also trying to find out which physico-chemical parameters co-occur with the geosmin appearance.
