El objetivo final de su trabajo es cuantificar mejor la p\u00e9rdida actual de biodiversidad y, de este modo, identificar qu\u00e9 especies o grupos requieren una mayor atenci\u00f3n en conservaci\u00f3n. Durante su etapa postdoctoral ha trabajado en Suecia y Reino Unido, y ha participando en diversos proyectos internacionales sobre la extinci\u00f3n de especies y sus efectos ecol\u00f3gicos. Ha recibido una beca Ramon y Cajal por su trayectoria en investigaci\u00f3n y actualmente lidera un grupo de investigaci\u00f3n dentro del equipo de Biodiversidad y Bioindicadores (BiBio) del Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico BETA. Aqu\u00ed tambi\u00e9n coordina los programas de seguimiento de mam\u00edferos terrestres a trav\u00e9s de la ciencia ciudadana."}
